The first luxury textile collection designed by Caroline Price for Montespan, tells the tale of the passionate and long romance between King Louis XIV of France and Athénaïs de Montespan. The most beautiful woman of her time, married, a style setter, a great wit, and an epicenter of court life, Athénaïs had seven children with the King. The stories about the stunning palaces he built for her, magnificent jewels he gave her such as the Hope Diamond, gardens they created together, magical moments of their romance and rocky roads they traveled together are each captured in this collection. With patterns intended to mix, the collection ranges from formal to casual, high to low, brightly colored to neutral, powerful to quiet, traditional to edgy, all seen through Caroline Price’s modern lens.
Exclusive to Vervain Fabrics, the textiles include Wallpapers, Fabrics and Trims, and can be seen in Fabricut Showrooms.
Montespan Design would love them to be a part of your next design project.
